Ukraine of Asia: Is Philippines a geopolitical pawn of US to fight China?

We have a great guest who understands the complexities of South China Sea!

Professor Anna Malindog-Uy is a popular geopolitical analyst, VP and Senior Research Fellow at a couple of think tanks, prolific columnist, and a Ph.D. candidate at Peking University.

She explains the dynamics of the contested waters of the South China Sea. While there are legitimate and complex legal issues over who controls the maritime routes and has access to the natural resources, the real geopolitics is about US and China. And the Philippines is turning into a pawn and a semi-colony of the US Empire, especially under the new leader, Marcos.

Anna talks about the US soft power in the Philippines and how American propaganda permeates the Filipino society.
